Sometimes traveling gives you the space to notice what everyday life keeps you too busy to see.

Stepping away from your routine can bring unexpected things to the surface — questions, emotions, patterns, decisions, or simply the realization that something in your life needs your attention.

Transpersonal Therapy offers a space to slow down, observe what is present without judgment, and explore it with greater awareness.

Book a private 60-minute in-person session in La Fortuna, Costa Rica. If you would like to continue exploring what comes up during your session, we can continue working together online after you return home.

Maybe you’re here because…
Being away from your usual routine has given you space to notice things you normally don’t have time to look at.

You understand many of your patterns, and perhaps even where they come from, but that doesn’t always stop you from repeating them.

You’re going through a transition, decision, or period of uncertainty and would like a space to explore what is coming up.

You notice familiar patterns in your relationships — difficulty setting boundaries, seeking approval, avoiding conflict, or taking responsibility for more than what is yours.

You already value personal growth, through therapy, meditation, yoga, or your own practices, and feel ready to look a little deeper.
You don’t necessarily need to fix anything.

Maybe something simply needs to be seen with less judgment.

Understanding what’s happening doesn’t always make it stop happening.
You may know why you react in certain ways, recognize where a pattern comes from, and even notice it while it’s happening… and still find yourself repeating it.
Because not everything changes through understanding alone.
In a session, we create space to observe what is present without immediately trying to fix it — thoughts, emotions, sensations in the body, relationship patterns, and ways of responding that you may have learned throughout your life.
From that awareness, we can begin to create a little more space between what happens and how you respond to it.
Awareness doesn’t always change what is happening.
But it can change the way you relate to it.
My approach
Every person arrives with a different story, and every session can take a different direction. My work is grounded in Transpersonal Therapy, integrating a systemic perspective and mind-body practices when they are helpful to what is coming up.

Therapeutic Conversation

A space to put into words what you’re experiencing, explore it with curiosity, and see it from new perspectives.

Systemic Perspective

To notice relationship and family patterns, roles, or dynamics that may be influencing the way you experience your life today.

Body & Movement

Sometimes the body reveals what words cannot. Body awareness and gentle movement can help us notice what is present beyond the story we tell ourselves.

Breath & Meditation

Practices that can support presence and help you observe thoughts, emotions, and sensations with greater awareness and less judgment.
There is no formula and we won’t necessarily use all of these tools in one session. The session adapts to you and to what is present in that moment

About Me
Hi, I’m Karla Corrales.
I’m a Transpersonal and Systemic Therapy facilitator based in La Fortuna, Costa Rica, with more than five years of experience accompanying people through processes of self-awareness and personal exploration.
My approach is also shaped by my own experience with self-demand, inner judgment, and the feeling that there is always something more we should be doing — even when it comes to our own wellbeing.
For me, therapy is not about becoming a “better” version of yourself. It is about learning to observe yourself with greater awareness and less judgment, and developing a different relationship with what is already present.
My background in yoga, meditation, breathwork, and body-based practices complements my therapeutic approach when the process calls for it.
